Biography

Dana Nash is originally from Hawkinsville, Georgia, and now lives in Winterville which is just outside of Athens, Georgia, home to the University of Georgia Bulldawgs!  She attended the University of Georgia (UGA) where she earned a B.S.A. in Animal Science and M.E.D. in Agricultural Education.  She has two sons, and, in her time away from the office, she enjoys running, playing softball, fishing, hunting, alongside her boys.

Nash has been supporting students at Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Allilance (Great Plains IDEA) since November 2013.  Her duties include registering students and promoting courses offered at UGA.  Great Plains IDEA offers a unique way for students to complete a master’s degree while being employed full time and offers courses to satisfy an undergraduate degree or certificate that UGA may not offer.
