Required Courses 6 credit hours
There are two required core courses for this graduate certificate which provides you with the ability to create a learning experience that supports your interests and career goals. The required courses include Foundations of Youth Development, a three credit hour course which should be taken in your first semester, and Youth Development for three credit hours. Foundations of Youth Development is offered every semester so you can begin the program at any time.
**The Youth Development faculty are in the process of refreshing the curriculum with changes anticipated in the 21-22 academic year. All participating universities are engaged in the refresh process and will ensure students are able to complete in a timely manner. Contact your academic advisor with questions.
