Foundations of Leadership in Dietetics

Course Description
Students study key issues in the theory, research, and application of leadership in organizations. This includes defining leadership, understanding situational characteristics that facilitate/hinder effective leadership, understanding effective/dysfunctional leadership, and gaining greater insight into one's own leadership style and functioning.

Course Access

Canvas at UNL

Approximately two to three weeks before the first day of class, a UNL campus coordinator (Lisa King, Diane Wasser, Diane Nelson, Kelsey Sims or Rosanne Samuelson) will email students with information (student name, email, and NU ID) and instructions for accessing UNL classes.  Students will claim their UNL account by setting a password and security questions. Once students claim their ID, they will be able to access their courses at canvas.unl.edu.  Courses may not be visible to students until the first day of class.
