Course Description
This course examines various federal and state policies designed specifically for youth. Students examine how and why policies for youth are constructed. Students evaluate existing state and national policies using a guiding is whether they contribute to or act as barriers to desired developmental outcomes.

Course Access
Approximately two weeks before the first day of class at MU, the Mizzou Online student services department will email course access information to students for courses taught by MU. Using the instructions and information in the email, students will be able to access their myZou account. Students will then be able to activate their MU email account and access
Canvas at Mizzou. Instructors may restrict course access until the first day of class.
Returning students will be sent information on how to access this information and reset their password if they have forgotten it. Students are loaded into the course site one week before the start date of the class; however, instructors may restrict course access until the first day of class.
