Casey Smith is a student specialist in the Brenton Center for Agricultural Instruction and Technology Transfer at Iowa State University. He is originally from New York but raised in Iowa.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in leisure, youth and human sciences with emphasis in nonprofit youth administration from University of Northern Iowa in 2008. He then went on to receive a master’s degree in higher education from ISU and a master’s degree in human services counseling with emphasis in marriage and family therapy from Liberty University.
Smith helps manage student information systems and supports collaboration of other colleges with the ISU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences to provide exceptional online services to students. As part of his work, he sees that the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance has up-to-date information on the ISU website concerning courses, registration and important dates for students.
