The University of Georgia is a member university of AG IDEA, which is a part of the alliance called Great Plains IDEA, a consortium of land grant universities offering agricultural courses, certificates, and programs. Through this alliance, you can select the University of Georgia as your home university and take online classes from universities across the consortium with renowned faculty who bring diverse real-world experiences to their courses.

Participating Programs

Through AG IDEA, the University of Georgia's College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences participates in two certificate programs. The online agricultural and environmental law undergraduate certificate teaches students to better understand laws and emerging legal issues that may impact their careers. The online animal science graduate certificate provides foundational courses in many areas of animal science, serving as a springboard to other disciplines, all at one affordable common price.
