  • How does this program work?

Our courses are offered 100% online, so you can study anytime, anywhere!

The faculty in the quantitative genetics and genomics work collaboratively across five partner universities, providing diverse perspectives on the field, which will provide you with unique experiences you couldn’t get when taking classes from just one university.

  • How do I know which university to choose as my home university?

There is a lot to consider when choosing your home university. Students admitted to an AG IDEA member university are able to enroll in Quantitative Genetics and Genomics courses with permission from their academic advisor. If you're not admitted to an AG IDEA member university, choose one of the five teaching universities to enroll as a non-degree seeking student.

  • How will engage with faculty and students when we only attend classes online?

Being part of a virtual community provides opportunities an on-campus program never could. Interaction with learners and faculty from across the country allows you to learn from diverse perspectives.

Students and faculty interact through a Learning Management System (LMS), via chat, and some faculty offer opportunities for optional scheduled video conference sessions to visit in real time.
