Melisia Bieber is an office associate and Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance campus coordinator at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design. She works with both undergraduate and graduate students in the TMFD program.
Although new to the department, she has been with UNL for ten years in the College of Education and Human Science. She has an extensive background in program coordinating and scheduling. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the success of Great Plains IDEA,” Bieber said.
As a native Nebraskan, she enjoys outdoor activities: biking, walking, jet skiing and taking pictures of the beautiful sunsets. Besides outdoor activities, you’ll find Bieber enjoying time with her husband, Steve, and three daughters: Audrey, Lauren, and Haley. Bieber loves photography and animals of all kinds. She has a cat and dog of her own, plus fosters animals for the Capital Human Society.
