Biography

Kimberly Thomason currently serves as the program manager for Early Childhood Education Initiatives at Virginia Tech University, and as the professor of curriculum development for ages 0-3 at Oklahoma State University. Thomason is also the CEO of Three Presidents Consulting, LLC, and serves as a professional development specialist for the Council for Professional Recognition.

As a Certified Child and Parenting Specialist, Thomason worked as a domestic violence and therapeutic foster care counselor, regional director for service learning for the Oklahoma Department of Education, and as a consultant for the National Resource Center and Center for Early Childhood Professional Development. She was the recipient of the SECA Helen Harley Memorial Award in 2003.

While living in Virginia she worked as a consultant for DSS Early Childhood Education, adjunct faculty at New River Community College and Radford University, the NRV Virginia quality local coordinator and curriculum specialist, and regional manager for Child Care Aware of Virginia.
