TRADITIONS
NCSU’s Free Expression Tunnel, a central campus pedestrian tunnel under railroad tracks, is open for anyone to decorate. It’s painted daily.
The Brickyard, an expanse of patterned red and white brick, is where organizations provide services and build community. Head to the Brickyard at the heart of the NCSU campus and you might see a blood drive, Earth Day celebration or a farmers market. The courtyard name is officially University Plaza.
